This quilting group makes beautiful quilts for hospitals, nursing homes, shelters, etc and they are looking for donations of cotton fabrics. If you have some to spare, I am sure it would be gratefully received! For more information, click the link below.
I am not affiliated with this group, but think the Warm Wishes Quilters do wonderful things for the community. My mother contacted them last night re: making a donation, and someone replied to her before 6am this morning with a very gracious email!
EDIT MAY 31: It appears that the ad and the link has been removed from Kijiji. I assume this quilting guild would still welcome donations of cotton fabric.
