It's been three weeks since I've mailed a letter out-of-province and it still hasn't been received. On Canada Post's website, it says national mail takes five days to deliver.
How long is reasonable to wait before filing a service ticket?

From Saskatoon, SK to Nanaimo, BC, it typically takes 8 days.
Depends... Ever since the strike earlier this year i feel like it takes so much longer for mail to move.
Im in ontario so sending to BC or NS takes about 5 or 6 days it seems. Sometimes it takes that long and im sending something to MB
its seems that they have their own path to deliver, its always different sending mail, i had mail delivered amazingly fast and other mail amazingly slow.
A week for a reg. letter is "normal" but in the odd case longer. I would wait a full mth. before panicking.
CP is so strange. I've received envies across the country in less than 5 days. Other times I've waited weeks. Right now I'm waiting for an envie 1 province away and it's been 2 weeks.
On Canada Post's website, there's a dropdown menu where you can describe the contents. I was chatting with another SCer how I find it funny that you can describe the contents of your lost mail as "Prohibited Drugs". I wonder how long it would take them to find that mail?
