Expired and/or soon to be expired coupons, they have a use!

Hi folks!
I just found this post:

Basically, you can send expired coupons to Military families as they can use them for 6 months after the expiration date,
they also accept Canadian coupons! Finally, something to do with these old coupons right?
I dont know if any of you guys are interested in doing this,
but I think its a pretty neat idea!
Currently, Canadian troops and their families dont have the luxury of using expired coupons like American troops. (Maybe this will change soon? )

I just got an e-mail back, she says she's never had french coupons sent to her yet, so she asks that you please send some and she'll see if they can be accepted

They suggest on clipping the coupons and getting off the excess bits from newspaper to help save on postage,
and to please sort the coupons into 2 different baggies one for Food and the other for everything else (including dog food, cleaning supplies, make up, etc)

I would just like to note that I emailed them in February to verify if they take Canadian coupons and this is what I was told:

"Hi Kayla No I dont use coupons from canada...

in regards to my web site. My assistant Amber Lafoy is in charge of that,, she was in Iraq for medical reasons is now retired, She does her best ..{ If you can follow my drift }

i am wondering now what else has been done behind my back ? oh my I felt so bad for her thats why i kept here on I will be talking to you soon

Oh well, the coupons are already expired when I send them off.

I was really hoping they'd accept them, that's why I contacted them a few months ago. Hopefully someone will accept them somewhere! I'm sure we've all got a ton we could easily send off.
