Thread: Metro price error on salmon
-
Thu, May 24th, 2012, 10:38 AM #1
I popped into Metro this morning and wanted to pick up a few of their specials before the flyer ended today. Bought a couple things then went to pick up a filet of salmon. I think when I looked at it my mind saw $3.00 but when I got home and checked the receipt it said $0.03! Definitely an error on their part but I'm not going all the way back to the grocery store now.

Wow, it's like you won the lottery -- at least the fish deal was better odds.

Wow! How can someone completely not notice that?!!?! Not you, I mean the employee who's mistake. I can understand accidentally inputting the numbers wrong for the price sticker but I guess they just don't look at the sticker they happen to be slapping on the package? Or they don't happen to look at the package when they are stocking it into the freezer/fridge?! And there had to of been more then just one package at this price as don't they usually price a whole bunch of things at once and not just one package here and one package there?
Oh well! Super nice score for you!!! Surprised your cashier didn't notice either.Insert Clever Signature Here
