I suggest everyone bring all their coupons they are willing to trade that way you aren't stuck when someone wants something you have but you left it at home.

I'd also suggest bringing stamps for people who feel their collection is lacking as most people will trade stamps.

Also would be cool if we brought samples we can't use and can exchange for other samples/coupons? Ideas?

The first time we were not that organized! (was not there the last one) but we all just brought whatever samples to share in the middle of the table --we did not trade one for one or anything like that. Also we just but all the coupons we don't use or want to give away in a bag and everyone just took what they wanted from everyone's bag (again, no one for one trading) If people want to trade for higher value etc they set that up before
It was really relaxed and (I think ) everyone had a great time

most people brought their coupon binders that had for trade coupons. it wasn't done as a trade. each coupon binder was passed to each other one by one and people just took what they wanted. but for this time I think we should put a limit of 2 for people to take for the same coupon. I had some extra coupons that I wanted to use in the future(Dec, exp for example) and they were all gone from my coupon binder. I was a bit sad because I needed them myself. So this time before taking any coupons from each other binders/baggies, everyone should ask first if it is ok for them to take that coupon, etc. Samples were just put in the middle of the table and we just took what we wanted. I think there is no need for sample trade. I don't have any samples to bring this time, sorry but will try to bring something from my stockpile lol
I will bring my fpcs for trade and stamps as well if anyone wants to do seperate trade for hv coupons.

It is easir to go through the coupons when they are in the binder and divided into food/cleaning, etc sections instead of bringing them in the bag. I *might* bring my dd(5years old) to the meeting..

Ceren, could you please update the first post in this thread with the final details.

I think what works best is if everyone has a free4all pile that can be passed around. With a large group it just isn't possible to ask for each coupon. Out of fairness, when there is a bunch of one type of coupon, we should give everyone a chance to get some and then whoever wants can have what's left.
