Hi there I am wondering if anyone has bought a CPAP machine (for sleep apenea) online or anywhere else? I need to buy one and it is not covered by insurance, my local medical supplier wants $2300.00 for one, and online out of the states of course they want $980.00 for the identical machine. This is quite a big difference, if any one has any ideas where i can get one for a reasonable price,

I don't know where you are, but usually if you are referred to a sleep clinic, are diagnosed, and need a CPAP machine, it will be covered by provincial medical - with a co-pay, maybe, depending.
It's hard to give you advice, there are so many models.
Found this online, not sure of how current the info is -
The majority of insurance companies in Canada provide entire or partial funding for CPAP units. In Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, there is partial funding for CPAP units by provincial governments. CPAP units provided by governments are often a very basic unit and mask.
