What made you laugh lately?
I've had a smile on all week because I fought for my rights. A decision-maker made comments and facial expressions that made a gov agency look like total asses. I almost burst out laughing a few times in an inappropriate environment. It was a year long stressful process of fighting and being denied and it was basically the agency's choice to force outside decision-making that just made them look SO stupid.
I have a little more to gain than the satisfaction and laughter i got out of it, and so do other people fighting for the same thing, but it just proves that yeah, sometimes fighting for even small and blatantly obvious injustices are worth it. That whole agency needs an attitude adjustment but this will shake them a tad and they'll know I won't put up with their crap. This time it was the little guy that came out looking great!
