as for the stairs debate, i usually take the stairs when getting on and off a train or into a station because its faster lol plain and simple.
when I was in school, i had to connect to a go bus from the go station. it was 3 flights of stairs, but you had to run up to them to catch the go bus LOL so it was definitely faster than taking the escalator

Oh, he was so cute! So reserved on his trip down the slide! LOL!! That would be me....cautiously sliding down, yet very apprehensive about the drop at the end! LOL!!!

I like it I would totally be running up and down the stairs trying to play music, as that's just the way I roll. I think I would give the slide a try, too!

I always take the stairs when given the option.... When I was 4, my shoelaces got caught in the top of an escalator going up (In my defence, they weren't untied, they were just long laces!). The escalator pulled me backward, and pinned me to the top of it where people were tripping over me until someone yelled down to the bottom of the escalator to hit the e-stop. The shoelace had to be cut as it was all tangled into the cogs of the escalator. For years after that, my Mom couldn't get me to take an escalator or to wear shoes with regular laces. I only started to wear regular lace-up shoes again when I started getting teased at school for wearing shoes that were "different" 4 years later. I now wear regular lace-up shoes every day, but escalators still give me the heebie-jeebies!
