Housewarming Gift? No worries...

Last week was the housewarming party of my Brother's Sister-in-law. He said that he doesn't have any idea what to give them. I told my brother to leave everything to me. Went to the dollar store to buy a basket, boughs and wrappers. I went to my "Mini stockroom" grab a couple of this and that... and the end result...

that is what I love about couponing....we are not only able to save money but we are also able to give to others....I love the feeling you get when you are able to do this....at Christmas I even made baskets for out garbage men....lol....that is a great basket you gave..very nice...WTG:-)

Very nice. Someone gave us a bathroom themed basket for a shower present, (Don't think they couponed.) and it was a great present.

My SIL is getting married this year and I'm building her an "essentials" basket to get her started. I'm using it as a game for the shower too..."guess my OOP"...so far my retail value is around $30 and my OOP is around $5....loving it!

As the prize, I'm going to make a smaller basket with similar items...I'm so looking forward to seeing people's faces...

To me things like this make the best gifts, its items that actually get used and not something that just winds up sitting in the back of a closet collecting dust.

thats such a great housewarming gift! i did a babyshower gift of a laundry basket and filled with baby purex soap, scent free bounce sheets etc. great use of couponing! your brothers SIL obviously loved it :)
