Thread: Housewarming Gift? No worries...
-
Tue, May 29th, 2012, 03:21 AM #1
Last week was the housewarming party of my Brother's Sister-in-law. He said that he doesn't have any idea what to give them. I told my brother to leave everything to me. Went to the dollar store to buy a basket, boughs and wrappers. I went to my "Mini stockroom" grab a couple of this and that... and the end result...
Thanks to my fellow SCers! Without you guys, I would not be able to do this. Once again thank you very much!
***This was the picture that she posted on her facebook account. I was so glad she was happy about the gift. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Very nice. Someone gave us a bathroom themed basket for a shower present, (Don't think they couponed.) and it was a great present.
Very nice to see that she appreciated it a lot.
^---no pun intended. It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.

Great Job! I was laughing to myself looking at the picture, looking at the items knowing which coupons you used and what you would have paid.

My SIL is getting married this year and I'm building her an "essentials" basket to get her started. I'm using it as a game for the shower too..."guess my OOP"...so far my retail value is around $30 and my OOP is around $5....loving it!
As the prize, I'm going to make a smaller basket with similar items...I'm so looking forward to seeing people's faces...
