^OMG!!!! I have a craving for McDonald's right now lol!
I only went to the gym once last week. I've been trying to go three times a week, but it's hard going after a long day at work....
I was helping out a lady I work with at her daughters school fun fair last weekend and I was making balloon animals
(haha i kno a weird talent) anyway, i was down to my last two balloons, and i had two little boys who both wanted swords.
I started to make one and another person distracted me as I was doing so and I accidently made a dog instead!
one of the boys looked so upset!
I felt horrible!!
The mom said it was okay they'll share the sword but I felt suuuuuuuper bad!
last week i told my BF that i just wasn't feeling well,(I was feeling just fine!!) just so i could have a night at home alone!!
Sometimes I just need some ME time!
I told my boss that I was only getting back from my mini vacation this afternoon (instead of yesterday evening) so that I wouldn't get saddled with going to work today to finish a proposal that I don't want to bid on, let alone work on!
(I feel a bit guilty, but I got away with it and thank goodness - I am sooo tired today!!!)
Oh, and I've also been using the excuse, "I'm sorry I can't.... I'm pregnant and really, really tired lately" to get out of things that just seem like more trouble than they're worth, like joining a volunteer committee or doing additional work that I just don't want to do.
Full disclosure: DH has started using this for himself, too ;)
While my significant other was taking a shower last night, i ran for the Doritos chips. :) mmm spicy!!!
Priceisright I am shocked lol
This is a great thread. Thanks for the giggles.
I confess that I had a "I'm-tired-don't-want-to-do-anything-but-watch-TV-and-troll-the-Internet-kind-of-day-bc-I'm-a-mom-of-2-under-2." I don't claim to be a super mom, but I try to "be there and present" for my kids. Although days like today are exceptions not the rule, I feel better confessing I am not perfect and not every day is packing a picnic to take to a park day.
Woah...where did that load o' bricks go???
Well - if you've ever gotten on an elevator and it had a "not so nice" aroma - it might be that I got off at the floor just above the lobby and decided to walk down. SORRY!
oh boy. Some of your posts are hilarious! I would tsk tsk you all, but alas, I am just as guilty.
@hollyquaiscer: I threw out a pair of DH's shoes that I strongly disliked but I lied and told him the cat peed on them instead so they *had* to be thrown away. muahahaha.
Geez. This confession stuff feels GREAT!
I also hereby confess that there was a time once (okay, maybe more than once) when I accessed a certain DD's halloween candy bag for the coffee crisp bars after she'd gone to bed.
I was just helping her. I mean, gheesh, who needs all that candy for themselves?
Besides, caffeine is bad for kids. ;)
Sometimes i rip coupons while trying to cut them and end up throwing them out so my sig. other doesn't notice :)
