When I skype with my friend from North Carolina, I make him say words that bring out his accent. Like roof (says 'ruff') and make him say things that I find make no sense "Sat IN the floor" (instead of "Sat on the floor"). It seriously makes my day

I confess to ignoring the telephone when I know its not for me. I know my family and friends phone numbers show up on the call display, and if it isnt a number I recognize, I let it go to voicemail.

I used to do that to guilt people into giving me their seats on the bus. Except then I would feel bad when the most willing people to give up a seat were the little old ladies who walk with a cane.

I was thrilled to hear Michael Phelps didnt place in first, second or third in todays competition. Its nothing personal about the man, I just have had it up to here (motioning to my neck) with all they hype and buzz that surrounds his achievements and the expectations around him.

Its bad I know. To feel this way on someones defeat. But I cant help it... My confession today.

You're not the only one. DH and I had a nice laugh at his failure. We watched an interview where he was being all cocky about how his only competition was the first place winner (ryan I think his name is?) and that he was going to win basically. Idiot! Not only did he beat you but so did two other people. Now tuck that tail between your legs and do the walk of shame.
