Wait, the article now says that just after 9:30am Police confirmed the foot wasn't real.

Montreal police first said they were investigating the discovery of a human foot, but just after 9:30 a.m. confirmed the foot wasn't real.

Looks like the BC body parts belonged to Jun Lin. At least there`s no copycat.

Relieved they are connected and for the same reason. Unfortunately however that means that there still remains a head and limbs out there. *sighs* And yes, something sick happens and the crazies come out in droves.

Could the plastic foot just a discarded Halloween prop? I hope that's accidental. People shouldn't find it amusing to be sending plastic foot around.

if it's true that lin and magnotta had sexual relations and lin was leaving magnotta for a new boyfriend, then i think i understand why magnotta mailed the body parts to different places. i doubt it had anything to do with politics or there's any connection between magnotta and the schools.

Personally I don't think there was a connection, just as there wasn't between the Government Offices receiving body parts. I mean on one hand a school receiving body parts in the mail will grab attention and we know that's his number one motive and by sending these parts to the West Coast, he knew it would show up there a bit after the ones destined for the next province over, therefore keeping this story fresh in the media.

Sick? No argument there, but he's also very smart and THAT is the scary part.

**Edit** Let me rephrase, in my opinion the only connection between the Conservative Party HQ, Liberal Party HQ and Schools in Vancouver is that they are places that will gain a lot of media attention for having been sent there.
