when you stupidly lock your keys in the car.
...not clearing the snow off your car before driving and then not even using the rear defroster or wipers to clear the snow (wtf)
...using only your daytime running lights when its still dark out! People there are no rear lights on unless your turn them on manually (most cars)
...when the snow plow pushes all the snow onto your side of the street
...
You spend 5 minutes looking for your slippers and then discover that one of the dogs ate them.
Family politics and drama.
still bugged so I am posting it here too! lol
who does this? I mean really! I put my garbage bin-o-wheel thingy at the curb before 7:00 a.m., take DD to work, come back home about 3/4 hr. later.....Bin is emptied by the truck pick up, but there is a black bag of trash laying on the ground IN FRONT of my empty bin!!
I peer inside, NOPE nothing in that bag is from our house, I knew it wasn't as we only generate 1 bag every 2 weeks, the rest is recycled, and composted, sooooo call 311 for assistance.
A report/complaint has been filed with trash police, they will pick this bag up and search it out for possible clues....I hope whoever dumped this here was STUPID enough to leave something in the bag that can identify them.
My aunt, who works in a retail clothing store, told me once of someone who kept putting their household garbage in the store garbage bin. The manager of the store looked through one of the bags, and sure enough, there was something to identify the person doing it. They dropped the garbage back to their house.
You can't remember where you left your reminder list.
Today's afternoon flurries-more like little powder snow that melts on contacting my umbrella's surface. Melted snow becomes tiny frozen droplets (kind of embellished) on the umbrella on way to big box store walk. Return trip-wind's out and that snow is more like rain but now it's freezing like a white glaze on umbrella. Get 1/2 way home-the sidewalks are icing over enough to undermine the safety soles.
am i the only one who thinks that a person being late is just down right disrespectful?? (i'm not talking 5 min late.. i'm talking like a half hour late and leaving you waiting for them)
As waiting is my pet peeve, I would have to agree with you that it's disrespectful. There's not many folks who don't have cell phones. They could call and let you know they're running behind.
