My garden is kinda so so this year. None and I mean NONE of my carrot seeds took. So much for Martha Stewart organic seeds!! I have onions/peppers/tomatoes/corn/peas/radishes/beans. I'm more of a flower gardener. . .but with all the pesticide, genetic modifying, not to mention the Prices! I thot I'd try again this year. Hopefully I'll "remember to plant garlic this fall. Now THAT. . .is the best! Yum.
I never have any luck from seeds mine haven't taken either so i'll have to go to the garden centre and get some already sprouted before its too late
I'm like a quasi square foot gardener. Some sections are exactly that. Then I have several rows mixed in. Yes I am indecisive.
im in a apt so i havent got the backyard to plant anything:( But i love gardening! Ive got a ton of potted plants! Geraniums, poinsettas, kalanchoes, spider plants, string of pearls, sweet potato vine ( not edible) thyme, basil, parsley, monarda, mint and mint chocolate, and many more. Than this summer I thought it might be fun for the kiddies if we planted some veggies! So right now we/ve got a planter with string beans, radishes and carrots in it. Ive also bought some cabbage and turnip seeds we are going to plant at grandmas house ( shes got a farm so more space for the bigger veggies). The only thing that kinda stinks about being a plant lover is that I havent got a balconey so my apt is very full of plants.!
i planted a tomato plant and a cherry tomato plant this year -not much time for gardening -but love the 2 plants i have

6 Air Purifying House Plants
1. Bamboo Palm: According to NASA, it removes formaldahyde and is also said to act as a natural humidifier.
2. Snake Plant: Found by NASA to absorb nitrogen oxides and formaldahyde.
3. Areca Palm: One of the best air purifying plants for general air cleanliness.
4. Spider Plant: Great indoor plant for removing carbon monoxide and other toxins or impurities. Spider plants are one of three plants NASA deems best at removing formaldahyde from the air.
5. Peace Lily: Peace lilies could be called the “clean-all.” They’re often placed in bathrooms or laundry rooms because they’re known for removing mold spores. Also know to remove formaldahyde and trichloroethylene.
6. Gerbera Daisy: Not only do these gorgeous flowers remove benzene from the air, they’re known to improve sleep by absorbing carbon dioxide and giving off more oxygen over night.

Stones painted as strawberries when put around strawberry plants in the spring will keep birds from eating your berries because the birds will think the ripened berries are stones
I've been collecting my garden produce as it's really cold here at night now. Lots of tomatoes to ripen in the basement. Lots of onions and cucumbers too. Want to plant some kale seeds so maybe I can get some early kale in the spring.
great idea for an old pallet.
