I wish I could have sunflowers in my yard...
oops, never mind
Even there are areas of grass that are dry or yellow, some other green plants set up location and grow. There's one whorled green thing that suggests a lettuce plant but I have no idea what it is. Two weeks that I 've seen it-it keeps growing back.
I should see if flat beer can fix yellow parts of the lawn!
Nothing :(
came here for the inspiration
Obviously I have nothing but ice this year lol . I can post a few things from last year. It was a great year here, lots of heat, a good amount of rain and not too many infestations except someone ate my kale but that's o.k.
So I found these tables at a junk place they were originally silver but I spray painted them black. I got 4 of them for $10 each they guy wanted $70 each. hahaha

I love Coleus, so easy to maintain but by September if they are too big the wind can snap them easily,

These Canna lilies were a new variety, I ended up digging them all up and giving them back to the farm so she could plant them for me. I will definitely get them again as they did well in shade. These ones only get about 3 hours of sunlight in the morning and late evening.

Spectacular, as always @Patty Smyth :) Every year gets better and better, you definitely have a much greener thumb than I do. That canna is beautiful. With that foliage, I wouldn't even be disappointed if it decided to not bring any blooms. Do you happen to remember the name of it?
I don't know the name but I will post it as soon as I get them this year. I usually get all my plants the weekend of Mothers day that when the farm opens for business.
Just an FYI for those that went to Ottawa and saw the Mosaiculture over the last 2 years the place where I get my flowers is the farm that built all those mosaics from the ground up.
I was lucky enough to see them being built from the metal frames to the finishing touches.
Really like the impact of your front yard red planters with the purple flowers! Stunning.
Amusing to see the two ceramic frogs flanking your lion's head water feature. Fun!
Pretty excited about some of the plants I got this year. New to me is Canary Dragon wing begonias. Giant Salvia, giant Ageratum and some new Goliath Coleus .
