What's blooming in your yard?

The mystery plant is in a back flowerbed that usually doesn't get enough sun because the oak tree limbs shade the ground after a point in spring. But Dad trimmed the limbs last week and the struggling cane of rose is there and this mystery plant and mostly mum plants. There could be a plant or two Mom transferred from pots to outdoors but I don't know their names.
I'm hoping the sunshine is helping the plants all prosper and we'll have the bloom to id this mystery plant. Thanks for your help, GoJays! And for the name of the tiny flowers!

Let me know what Miss Mystery is when she finally blooms, I'm very curious :)

April 13 and I have some blooms on my strawberries! Out in bc :)

everything here has a nice new layer of snow on it again

chives are very resilient, well,,,:rolleyes:
i always have chives in the garden, started a long time ago.
some a little garlicly - some not so.
terrific in the summer salad of macaroni, salmon, mayo
celery and chives. don't have a recipe just adlib.

always amused at how the 'not so kiddos' ie the university
nephews love it.
looking forward to when it is warm enough :)

The green onions I forgot to pull up from the garden last year are going strong! We discovered them when the last of the snow on the garden melted a few days ago. The Creeping Thyme is a lot hardier than I expected it to be and lots of new, green leaves can be seen underneath the old. I need to get outside once it dries up and clear out the old growth.

They look quite content to just hang around, don't they? How far away were you from them that they didn't run away?

love the deer TNT!! I have about 9 tulips at one end, the leaves have poked maybe 4 inches above the ground now, just in time to be snowed upon.

I quite simply hate you all.

I have SNOW MOLD blooming in our yard. Top that, eh??!!:redface:

Crocus #1 is doing her stage bow aka leaning forward on the ground already-the snow yesterday must have led to that. Buddy Crocus #2 has two other about to bloom crocuses nearby. Tulip leaves are unbalanced-one side has more length aiming for sky than the other side-the bulbs are over thirty years old! Daffodils seem to be on standby-not really reaching for the sky this week. Scilla are poking up here and there in the sunny flowerbed.
Easter weekend-maybe flowers by Easter Tuesday?

I just love it when they show up. It feels so special when they come into town visit. :-) I just hope they get safely back to wherever they are supposed to be.

In those pictures, they are behind our neighbour's garage. I think that's about 20-25 feet from our kitchen window, where I took the pictures.

I still have a reasonable amount of snow coverage. It's about 6 inches deep and covers around two thirds of my garden still..


HOwever I did find a blooming dandelion this morning.

at this point i'll even welcome one of those
