I am sure, I know they are taller irises on the right and at the end. But when I say floppy I mean the day lily ones are also thinner and cannot stand upright like the irses.Quote:

The white stuff may have been spider mites too.
i don't even wanna google anything with spider in it. LOL
it was more of a powder. it came off with a swipe. i guess it might have been frost. after it had been in the sun it was all gone.
and yes my son gave it to me. its actually growing quite well. i had left the last one i got in the pot and it died. so this one was repotted, it's doing well.

The weather is warmer. Yay! 23- 30 C. I plan on purchasing flowers this week. The lilies haven't popped up yet. Hopefully soon. Green stems extending on the rose bushes. I plan on purchasing wave pansies and wave petunias for the pots. Marigolds for the front and not sure what else yet. Tomatoes, onions, peppers carrots, lettuce and basil for the veggie garden.
I'll chime in about powdery mildew, since I've dealt with it on squash plants... really can't tell from your pic if that's what it is but if putting it in the sun helped it, it could very well be that.
