I wonder if just putting some tomato leaves around the dahlias would work?

Been a rainy/cloudy week. Forcast is for some sun the next 5, my garden needs it!

I can't wait for the hydrangea in the back to pop. It only had 2 blooms on it last summer(previous owners did not take care of the yard) I cut it back, and have 8 inches of new growth and blooms galore. It is a deep blue/indigo. I transplanted 2 other hydrangeas last spring on the other side of the yard. Hopefully they do better this summer after getting their roots established. The blooms didn't all open with the extreme heat, and they didn't get enough water. This spring I loaded them up with compost, some ground coffee, covered with landscape fabric, and bark mulch. Hope to see some beautiful blooms soon

pulled a couple of radishes to add to the green salad tonight, yum

I can only post a pic if I have an actual print made and then scan it, so cannot be bothered. Patty!! OMG, that was a basil leaf Kiera was holding? My basil is nice, but hardly nuclear size like yours. ( sniff sniff, I sure love basil ) The bike planter turned out very eye catching in yellow! My snow peas and green runner beans have both flourished, won't be long now we will be picking something other than the lettuce leaves.

I planted pole beans all around the yard and in the crate bed with the cedar tree in it. I also planted a package of scarlet runner beans here and there for some color too. Their all up but have some growing to do.
We also forgot and bought the dog a BIG bone. He dug up 4 different places, thanfully not doing too much damage until... he decided the raised veggie bed would be agood place to bury it!
Grrrr, thankful he only dug up the carrotts and beets, thats why their a bit behind I had to start them over.
