Walmart-The Good, The Bad and The FREE MAUHHHHHHHH!!!

Hi Everyone,

Well DH and I went to WM and I have to say it was a crazy. First we had a complaint. The bread we usually buy was burnt. DH went to talk to a manager about it (as this has not be the first or second time) and ask them why they are burnt. Manager basically thought my DH was nuts and disagreed with him that it was not burnt. When the bread was like almost black and falling apart. So DH was upset and told her off and said he would be calling head office and complaining. Manager was just a peice of work! Totally messed up my DH shopping trip! But don't worry we got them back lol.

Anyways we managed to get some goodies for less

2 Advil Night Time (10) Caplets-PM-SDM-3.99 each-Used 4.00 off coupon from spin and win=FREE
32 Brailla Pasta-PM-Fortinos-0.99-Used 0.50 printable coupon=49.cent each=15.68
3xFamily Pack Chicken Breasts-PM-FB-2.99lbs=Around 23.00 for 3 packs when usually one pack goes for 16-17 dollars!

Now this is where we got WM back LOL. This was not done on purpose, and I actually feel bad because the cashier was great, but hey Karma is just crazy lol.

I PM the lady speed stick deoderant from Fortinos for 1.99, now with the 1.00 off coupons we had it would make them 99 cent each. Well this cashier was super sweet and nice! She took my coupons no problem, we paid and headed back home. Well I looked at my reciept and the POOR GIRL! She PM the lady speed stick, but instead of couponing it for 1.00, she coupon it for 1.99! She got confused! So I got all my deoderants for FREE! LOL

I feel bad for the girl, i will be sending an email about how great she was! But it was like the Karma fairy gave us a break after fighting with the manager! Moral of the story! Be nice because Karma might bite ya!

The cashiers at WM get 3 warnings with errors with price matching, entering coupons and then they get in trouble, I was told by a cashier at my local WM. I don't know what "trouble" means and she didn't feel comfortable expanding.

Some of the "Managers" at Wally World are just idiots! I have had to speak to a few over the years, and most of them don't have the common sense God gave to a blade of grass!!
For the most part, I have had no problems with cashiers there, most of them are polite and helpful, but you do run into the occasional coupon Nazi....
Good on you for contacting head office about the great cashier. Also, if you have the time, Customer Service will be glad to give you a form to compliment the cashier as well. My understanding is that their supervisor gets it and it goes a long way to help the cashier get promoted, bonus etc..

I hate being the negative one, but what exactly is the manager suppose to do about burnt bread? I used to work in a bakery, when you are looking after 15-20 ovens all baking different things, sometimes things get burnt. We would still put them out, and it people didn't want to buy it, then they didn't.

I'm sure there were lots of different kinds of bread available to pick from that wasn't burnt. It seems like you were putting up a stink for the fun of it.

Then to blame it on karma, that poor girl might get fired because of her mistake.
