Thread: Moving to Belleville

I will be moving to Belleville in the fall, and would like to know what areas are best, and what areas should be avoided? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate your input.

The east end is a great area (Old East Hill). Very pretty area and great schools if you have kids.

I agree that the East end is nice. I would avoid the North end where I live, (unfortunately LOL, we are moving!) Anywhere near Station street or downtown is not so great either. We have railroad tracks running through Belleville so unless you enjoy the sound of trains 24/7 you should probably stay away from those areas too. Belleville is a nice city but there are some rougher areas as I mentioned.
