Question about Zellers Promotions and Using Gift Cards

Hi folks, I recently used my HBC rewards to order a $50 HBC gift card.
There are a bunch of stuff I'd like to buy at Zellers with this gift card.

I also have an HBC credit card, and quite often they send out coupons where if you pay with your HBC credit card you can get an additional 15% off your total.

My question is, if I were to buy $100 worth of merchandise from Zellers and pay with my $50 Gift Card, and put the other $50 on my credit card, would I still be able to use the 15% off coupon? Would the discount be on the entire amount, or just the amount payed for with the credit card?

Anyone ever try something like this before?

There shouldn't be an issue with using both types of payment. I think the discount would only be applied to the amount you pay with your credit card.

The discount would be applied to your whole amount. Their scan order is item, discount on the amount B4 tax, gift card and credit card. Tax would be calculated by the amount after discount.

Who knows how to get the gift card from HBC without redeem the HBC points? Because I saw so many people got their gift cards by mail for free ya.
