The boys saw a Barred Owl in the woods and at the same time my cousin had this one visiting her for the day.

Lots of hummingbirds zooming around my apartment looking for some nectar as it's been freezing weather around here lately.
Cedar wax wings, swooped in a pack of at least 20. What beauties, seemed to be eating berries off the juniper tree.

Saw a robin and a crow in December and a saw a northern flicker the other day.
The lady on the first floor of our apartment building has a bird feeder so we benefit with birds dropping by. I have seen a nuthatch, chickadees, and woodpecker in the last week - I think pilliated (is that right?)
I love birds and trees. We have a forested area across the street from us.
