    Squeaky wheel gets the grease. I'm glad it was resolved for you...hope they don't try to sell it to someone else!

    I got a PS3 during a bonus redemption last year...haven't even opened the box yet because our current one is still working. When I bought it, I had to go to another Shoppers because the one by my house only had one with an opened box. Had I not read about the issues with electronics returns on this forum, I might have been tempted to buy that one.

    that why when I redeemed my points on electronic I alway called ahead regarding their policy on electronic and I always asked them if I can open the package to see if everything is there and they told me no problem you can opened

    I am so happy that we finally got it sorted out. Since they didn't have any left in stock to exchange it with, they gave me a gift card with the full amount on there. I figure I should wait for a 20X day that's coming up to purchase a new one and get close to 50,000 points (I think) for my troubles haha.

    That is a FANTASTIC idea! 50000 points almost makes the whole ordeal worthwhile. He He.

    The clearly used one I bought from SDM had the box seal intact. Not an open box. I wonder if they reseal returns in store to resell?
