todays gains and losses

I stumbled upon some undavertised deals today and am very grateful that for once I had all of my coupons that I needed. Here are some of my deals:
sale $7.96 maple leaf scallopini folds -$5 off coupon jun30 expiry = $2.96 each bought 2
sale $7.96 maple leaf wrapped chicken breast (?) - $5 off coupon jun30 expiry = $2.96 each bought 2
sale 4L skim milk $2.96 !!! jun23 expiry so no worries
sale granny's breaded turkey strips $2.95 (regular price $12+) had them for lunch and the kids loved them! no coupons but great deal
I used over $25 in coupons on this shop and combined with in store sales I was able to fill my freezer for less! I couponing
Oops forgot about the losses part. My 2yr old was in tow for this shop and he decided(when I wasn't looking) to open and close the freezer door while I loaded up with the deals and organized corresponding coupons(read I was distracted). Get to the car and I say are you thirsty ...yes... but I can't find his sippy. I ask him where is it? he says in the cart. I checked the cart its not there -where is it? At London Drugs in the cart he says. Crap. LD is on the way home anyways so we swung by - its not there. Are you sure it was at London Drugs I ask? In the fridge he says hmmm. What fridge ? I ask and I put it together. He put his sippy in the freezer at the 2nd store. Its now lunchtime and I have written off the sippy and have no plans on making the 10-15min drive just to get it. Some poor stocking clerk will find a lovely blue dinosaur sippy in the freezer maybe put a managers sticker on it and close the door again. I'll go back in a day or two if I'm in the area and see how attentive they are to their freezers

I sure am glad to hear that someone else has the same problem. I live in a small town and DS always seems to "leave" something behind at all the stores. The staff always keep the finds until the next day when they see us again on our walks.

They were excellent - fed the four of us a full meal yesterday (added fries and "dipdip" as my 2yr old calls anything liquid that he can put his "guggets" in - and fed 2 of us today as well with a few added sides and of course more dipdip.

He gives back all the time - an extra coupon all crumpled up or soggily chewed upon. A coy smile with his long eyelashes blinking... a good ol' scream when he's had enough shopping...and once the granddaddy of giving back - he left what I call a rabbit poo on the floor while visiting a bank manager(she was laughing while I cleaned up - I think it made her day - he said "momma rock in my shoe" - no rock - just a pellet or two slipped out of the leg of the diaper eeek!

Excellent deals I recently got a coupon purse which really helps in having the right coupons handy to go with unadvertised sales. I'm sure the store will still have the sippy cup in a box up at customer service (manager's sticker, lol).
