Chapters- Kobo E-reader Return!

Ok so my hubby purchased a Kobo e-reader for my bd, it was 99$ + 10$ gc free. When we realized, you can't us this thing at night unless you buy a nightlight that attaches to it, we decided to return it, what we didn't know was that the two tiny little circle stickers holding the box together had to be intact or they wouldn't accept the return. We never even powered it up or even used it.... what do you think about this?
