Well, of COURSE there will be no charges for Hillary Clinton over the emails - gee, it was just 'poor judgement'... and things would be different if it were anyone else...
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/06/us...omey.html?_r=0
"To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now.
As a result, although the Department of Justice makes final decisions on matters like this, we are expressing to Justice our view that no charges are appropriate in this case."

Aw, you guys, don't pick on Hillary. Based on her resume, she's the most qualified candidate for the US presidency that ever was. You guys really want Trump?

Now this is frightening!! So Trump stands for a "kill first, ask questions later" policy, too?
Trump Praises Saddam Hussein Killing Terrorists (without benefit of any legal rights); even worse, he has supporters in the US! Just truly frightening!!!

Trump has previously said the world would be “100 per cent better” if dictators like Hussein and Libya’s Moammar Gadhafi were still in power. Prior to the U.S. invasion, Iraq was listed by the U.S. as a state sponsor of terrorism. Hussein suppressed dissent in his country and used poison gas against 5,000 Iraqi Kurds.

Collet Stephan, convicted in son's meningitis death, may go to jail for not posting sentencing decision
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgar...ence-1.3666202
Collet was handed a conditional sentence order (CSO) allowing her to serve her time in the community, under house arrest.
If she does not comply with Jerke's order, Collet could be found in breach of her conditions, her CSO could be collapsed and she could be sentenced to time in custody.
Two of the fundamental principles of sentencing are rehabilitation and repairing harm done to the community, which Spaner says is addressed in Jerke's unique order for his judgment to be posted.
"This community has been harmed by their conduct," said Spaner. "I think putting the appropriate fact scenario into their community is a relevant and meaningful sentence."

A sickening situation in Saskatoon Sunday - a 16 year old girl allegedly killed a six month old boy (not a relative)
Yes, disgusting because of the murder - but what lies beneath is the horrid youth criminal justice act.
Saturday morning she walked away from an open custody facility, Saturday during the night she met some girls, who took her home since she said she had nowhere to stay - and that morning is when the murder of the infant occurred.
Not the first time she escaped custody, not her first charges - there are many, and she has breeches.
She was serving a 10-month sentence on several charges, including assault, robbery and arson.
No info yet on how the death happened, though.

^ so incredibly sad for that family that reached out to help her and had their child murdered by her.
You have to wonder what has happened to this child, what has she experienced in her life that she is so angry and violent towards others?
I suspect she grew up in a household where addiction and violence were present every day.

Alberta Conservative MP Jason Kenney arrives at an event announcing he will be seeking the leadership of Alberta’s Progressive Conservative party in Calgary, Alta., Wednesday, July 6
I had hoped he'd run for federal leader, but his decision is to go provincial, to try unite the right in AB.

A while back, I had posted about the dome at the Saskatchewan Legislature in Regina having been redone - finally, it's been exposed in its full glory. The copper will get a natural aged patina in a year or two, and go to green/black.
