Patrick Brown.......oh my! what a scandal.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toront...o-pc-1.4503040
I was watching his stunning late night statement he read out in an emotional voice and thought " has this man really been falsely accused? " but that all changed after I read his entire staff resigned and urged HIM to step down and then this morning he did.
I suppose the courts will decide his fate now.

@walkonby -seems this matter needs to be dealt with by all the concerned individuals. I saw the live news conference on CHCH and Mr. Brown definitely was no faking his reaction. But the women who have filed the allegations have something to say-have I missed their live appearances?
Seems I was wrong that Yum brands is one of the larger restaurant brands in Canada. Saw an updated article on the biggest chains and Restaurant Brands Inc. that runs Tim Hortons/Popeyes Louisiana Chicken/Burger King is up there with Cara and MTY.

So sad to say goodbye to Brad Wall, the best premier any province ever had...
Ten amazing years!
This evening, the Sask. Party will be choosing a new leader, who will become the premier.

It seems Patrick Brown may not be as squeaky clean as people think ...
“Well before Mr. Brown's 2015 ascent to the leadership, rumours about his relationships with women flew around political circles. As a federal MP, he and a few Conservative colleagues styled themselves "frat boys," and made a show of partying with much younger women.
This was often in places where alcohol flowed heavily, despite Mr. Brown never drinking. Among Mr. Brown's crew was Rick Dykstra, subsequently installed as provincial party president, who lost his federal seat after a report about him buying drinks for underage girls.”

Oh, but there is money for Khadr, the fancy skating rink, etc...
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said his government is fighting some Canadian veterans in court because they are asking for more than the federal government can afford.
"Why are we still fighting certain veterans groups in court? Because they're asking for more than we are able to give right now," Trudeau said, answering a question from a veteran, who said he lost his leg to an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan, during a town hall meeting on Thursday evening in Edmonton.

SpaceX successfully launches Falcon Heavy
The world's newest, most powerful rocket in decades has reached space. It took a few weather delays Tuesday, but the private space company SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon Heavy rocket from the Kennedy Space Center.
Watch the video of the launch at the top of this page. (If you'd like to skip ahead to the very moment the rocket lifts off, you can find it about 29:50 into the video.)
Not long after the massive craft blasted off NASA's historic Launch Pad 39A, arcing a fiery path through the sky, its side boosters fell away. As the main rocket continued its journey into space, two of the boosters returned to Earth, landing successfully back on their designated pads.
The center booster broke away from the rocket as well, though it remains unclear whether that landed successfully on a drone ship at sea as planned.
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Oh, our PM embarrassing our country once again, with his mansplaining, correcting the woman at a town hall - yet, he was incorrect.
And, yes, it's gone around the world...

@Natalka ... how about some balance ... the woman agreed with Trudeau but you and others conveniently ignore that. From a Political reporter on twitter ...
“The US-right-wing pile-on re Trudeau's "peoplekind" is pretty misleading.
He was lightly ribbing a woman who was rambling about the power of women, "God the Mother," and how the world needs womanly love. Fox excluded her response to him: "There you go, exactly. Yes. Thank you."”
