Indiana Republicans remove Obama punch-bag
Not everyone got the joke. Numerous fair visitors - including at least one Republican - voiced concerns.
Brad Oliver, a college administrator seeking an open state House seat on behalf of the GOP, left the fairground in protest over the punching bag.The candidate said it was his duty to 'help our children learn the art of political civility and the need to listen and respect the diverse views of others.'
'Obama is somebody we want to defeat. It was all meant in fun. But in reality I considered it a little offensive myself,' Mr Bennington told the Star Press.
'I’m retired military and I respect the commander in chief.'
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Belarus president fires air force and border chiefs after Teddy Bear stunt
The president of Belarus has sacked his air force and border security chiefs because a Swedish light plane managed to drop teddy bears into the country with labels calling for freedom.
President Alexander Lukashenko expressed fury over the incident, which happened on 4 July.
Only last week did the official media admit that it had actually happened.
Mr Lukashenko has cracked down hard on political opponents. His re-election in 2010 was marred by reports of abuses.
An official statement from the president's office on Tuesday said the Chairman of the State Border Committee, Maj Gen Igor Rachkovsky, and Air Defence Commander Maj Gen Dmitry Pakhmelkin had been dismissed for failing in their duties.
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Besides you don't want to hear what Option Nationale has to say. They believe that the 50 billion we send to Ottawa in taxes pays for the car plants in Ontario and the oil sands in Alberta when we all know we get more back than we pay into it. This is the type of crap that goes on.
Also depending on who he talks to Farncois Legault is no longer a seperatist but he will not stop a referendum and claims he will vote "no". He was a seperatist for 40 years until this election.
Oh and there is too much english in Montreal so they want to beef up bill 101 and also force all CEGEP(college) students to go to school in french.
Fun eh?

Hoping the polling from this weekend doesn't come true once votes are cast - I hope that the undecided choose to go with the status quo.

A rabbi in Toronto/Thornhill who has been accused of sexually assaulting pre adolecent youths 40 years ago is finally going to trial.
The non orthodox jews who hate the orthodox are having a field day with this one, much to my annoyance as it trivializes what happened.http://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-...stRecentReview
