Brad Wall and Sask. Party win third straight majority
Wall won a third term as premier after being re-elected in his own riding of Swift Current. It's the fifth time he has captured the constituency for his party, having first won the seat in 1999.
61 seats this election, three were added since last one.
In 2011, the Sask. Party took 49 of the 58 seats.
As of now SaskParty has 48, NDP has 13 - some seats are really close, so more to come on those. One is the seat of the NDP leader.
No Liberals, no Progressive Conservatives, no Green.

Gosh, what an amazing and heartfelt speech - he's quite the man
"We did not win anything tonight,we've been given an opportunity to serve."
"We will not take a day for granted"
Premier Brad Wall and his wife, Tammy
"Let's keep that promise...to keep Saskatchewan strong."Last edited by Natalka; Tue, Apr 5th, 2016 at 12:06 AM.

#SK #BradWall's victory speech- not a lick of triumphalism. A grateful family man from Swift Current offering grace, class & humility.
So interesting, Brad's son is Colter Wall, singer/songwriter - so his music was used in Brad's campaign.

Still waiting to see whether or not NDP leader Cam Broten loses in his riding or not - will update tomorrow.
Voter turnout was down this time - just short of 55%. It was 67% for the 2011 election.

^^^Saskatchewan's Brad Wall has such integrity, ideas, and energy. Course the province of Saskatchewan consists of such hardworking, salt of the earth people makes sense they would vote for such an ethical man.

When you are actually liked by the province you govern, you tend to get re-elected

"The National Bank has already predicted that Trudeau's spending could result in a $90 billion deficit by the time the next election comes around. Last year a UBC study noted that a national pharmacare plan would cost Canada about $5.4 billion.Almost the same as Trudeau's spending in his first 100 days."Last edited by seylz_gurl; Thu, Apr 7th, 2016 at 08:10 AM.

Maxime Bernier has announced he will run for leader of the Conservative Party of Canada. He has strong libertarian beliefs so I like what I am hearing
