Forget about waiting for Mike Pence to invoke the 25th amendment, forget about the Dems getting that impeachment thing going....
Twitter hit the orange man where it REALLY hurts!! They have banned him permanently from Twitter!
What has he got? 88 million followers? Whatever....now what will he do? Implode?
Trump's reaction to all of this?

@heartgirl99
That may not be enough as parler can still be used.
Google allows other app marketplaces on Android, and its decision only applies to its flagship Play Store. And people will also still be able to use Parler via web browsers on their phones or computers.
Apparently a new threat is planned for January 17th but some of these planned riots by Trump supporters are targeting Capitol buildings in various swing States all on that same day.
Good Lord!! Security will be needed everywhere.Last edited by walkonby; Fri, Jan 8th, 2021 at 09:43 PM.

Many new developments have happened. Remember the Zip tie guy in fatigues? He's been arrested, his Mom was with him!!
They both wanted to " fight " for their freedom?? Whatever....
Also, Corporate donors have suspended campaign contributions to lawmakers who voted against certifying the electoral win of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as President and Vice President, respectively, in the wake of the riots unleashed on the capitol last week by pro-Trump supporters.

For any who were aware of Trumps massive fund raising efforts since before the Nov 3rd election and after, you know he raised well over 2 million from his supporters. The Company that facilitated the donations ( I guess processed them? ) is called Stripe. Stripe has now abandoned that role.

So things are working towards make those accountable who attributed in any way to that attack on Capitol Hill.
I hope that the Dems once in power will work extra hard to eliminate further actions by domestic terrorists.

scary times! it's not even close to being over. those on parler have just moved over to other platforms.
fbi has warned of multiple armed riots coming next week in all state capitals and judicial buildings. yes, indeed, the 'law and order' party is proving to be otherwise. republican politicians have been found to have helped organize the jan 6 protest and provided busing and financial aid. it's just a massive shi*tshow.

US House of Representatives impeach Trump for a second time
The US House of Representatives has impeached President Donald Trump for "incitement of insurrection" at last week's Capitol riot.
Ten Republicans sided with Democrats to impeach the president by 232-197.
He is the first president in US history to be impeached twice, or charged with crimes by Congress.
Mr Trump, a Republican, will now face a trial in the Senate, where if convicted he could face being barred from ever holding office again.
But he will not have to quit the White House before his term ends in one week because the Senate will not reconvene in time.
Mr Trump leaves office on 20 January, following his election defeat last November to Democrat Joe Biden.
The Democratic-controlled House voted on Wednesday after several hours of impassioned debate as armed National Guard troops stood guard inside and outside the Capitol.
The FBI has warned of possible armed protests planned for Washington DC and all 50 US state capitals ahead of Mr Biden's inauguration next week.
In a video released after the vote in Congress, Mr Trump called on his followers to remain peaceful but he did not refer to the fact that he had been impeached. "Violence and vandalism have no place in our country... No true supporter of mine would ever endorse political violence," he said, striking a sombre and conciliatory tone.
