I was looking at the lean cousin site catalog and it didn't list walmart gift cards, are you sure? I would love in on this deal.

If you don't like the GCs offered, you could get SDM GC and then use GC to buy transit pass/tickets, or other GCs like Future Shop.

Or you could get Loblaws GCs and use GC to buy other GCs. I think they have Zellers/HBC but not 100% sure.

As I said in my post above, I used those VIB coupons at the 20x event and it worked just fine. I even called head office when I did have a pts problem with one VIB coupon and they fixed it for me, no problem.

I don't know if all BP coupons will work at the bonus events, but the VIB coupons do work.

Just read on another thread that FPC do NOT count so will be skipping the promo! Shopping alot less at SDM as the flyers don't have much we need!

I can't believe I am skipping this one but I think so. I don't need anything and can't use my FPC as planned.

I went to SDM to get some prescriptions filled and I saw my favourite manager. I asked about this promo. She said I won't get the points with FPCs put in as 2001 because it's not 20x promo. I said it should work but it might not work if the points are awarded at a later date. So we decided to do a test.

    Here is the neat trick.

#1 Do not scan optimum card.
Scan in all items, put in FPCs as 2001 and you will see at top right corner of screen the total points earned today.

    #2 Scan optimum card.
Scan in all items, put in FPCs as 2001 and you will see at top right corner of screen the total points on your optimum card, not points earned today.

    All FPCs
    Subtotal 80.91
    Total 12.12
Points 19300 worth 40.63 on bonus redemption day.

    My list:

    3 kleenex
    4 batteries
    2 toilet paper
    2 johnson and johnson
4 bags of milk (our milk for the week)
    Total before coupons approx $80
    After coupons $66ish

I also always buy a shoppers gift card first and get base points for the gift card and then pay for the entire transaction with the gift card.

Also, any one remember how much they cost at Costco? At shoppers it's $10.99X4=$43.96! That's a good start on the $75!
