Mother dearest stumbled upon 2 packages of back-to-school 'shape' cookies (as they call them) with school buses on them. I was going to try to either cookie cutter them, or squish two together into one of these cookie-on-a-stick pans by wilton for halloween

My question is, can I? I was going to frost over top of the school bus colors regardless. Should I use Pam spray in the molds? Will I be able to get them out if I don't use sticks?

Truth be told I've never used a pan like this before, mom picked it up for me at a thrift store sometime after last halloween.

    Tips? Help!

You could squish the dough back up without a problem, just watch out that the cooking time will change if you get bigger or thicker cookies.

I've never seen a cookie pop pan before, but that goes to show how aloof I am when I go to bulkbarn... I never glance at anything that's not going directly into my belly Definitely, though, give the mold a quick spray with some pan spray just in case. It is always easier to bang things out of the molds that way.

    That mold is so cute!

    I've never used one either.
I would probably spray some PAM on them. It couldn't hurt!
To be super safe, pop the cookies out when they've cooled off...so you know, they've had time to "harden" and won't be as delicate.
    Good luck! Post pictures!

P.S. Pretty sure that pan would be awesome for cake pops.

Even though the pan is stick resistant, I would use some pam anyways, it's always better to be on the safe side. You would hate to go to all that work, then have your cookies crumble!
