Well, SDM, just wait until Target comes along and opens their pharmacy. You'll have to step up your game and perhaps this points for FPCs thing won't be such a bad idea, hmm?

THIS change is good news though: Promotional Gift Cards, such as the $10 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift Cards we issue as promotional words, are also counted toward promotions I hated that I couldn't use my promo gift card on my pile! Wonder how long this will a) take to come into effect at my store and b) how long it will last before they retract this one?!

Oh No wendyjane!! Now that you have uttered the good part about the policy change out loud, it WILL be changed.
From now on anything good about SDM just whisper it softly.... ok I won't post anymore pics ridiculing them, I just find it releases the frustration better than posting my own rant thread.

I just don't understand why FPC's do not count...afterall, they are still a coupon, they still get reimbursed (plus handling) from the MFR....why SDM, why???

Why bother complaining on Facebook? I asked questions, I complained and all they did was delete my posts.

^ Even if they delete it, people will read it before it deletes.....the more times people post it, the more potential there is that people have read it...BTW, you can also save a screenshot of the facebook page after you posted, then when they try to delete it....you can post THAT up (whether on their facebook page or heck, even send it to the local newpaper!) and show how they're editing out the bad comments.

It's really kicked some other company's in the behind when they did that....

This is a mess up !!! funny thing about this is that the FACEBOOK page AND the POLICY on the SDM WEBSITE were the same .. sooo how can this be a misunderstanding !! both websites posted the same thing !!

It's not a misunderstanding, it's a load of manure. The 3-page internal memo dated May 11, 2012 that they accidentally (or maybe accidentally on purpose) posted was a mistake too? The one that said they have changed over all the cashes so that fpcs give points and can be used toward promotions? Puh-leeeze!

How stupid do they think we are? Next they are going to try to sell us bridges and donuts holes...

hmmm you get money back from the manufactures for a $ off and you get money back from a fpc whats the difference . You know how much money they would generate from us scers by using fpc's all the time for their promos as to not allowing and us not buying that prodict there ? Jeez i guess there not out to make money lol Wallyworld would never let that happen as they pretty much take anything as they know money is money and teh more revenue you generate the better . You could always use it before. Most cashiers would just tell you you couldn't so it was best used durring point promos.

the $10 shoppers cards were always accepted as regular gift cards as a normal payment method.
