    So, finally after 4 months, my kitchen renovation is complete. I went from having a tiny kitchen with only 6 cupboards on 1 wall, to a gorgeous kitchen with tons of cabinets. I had to make a lot of adjustments when downsizing from our house to this condo we bought, but my kitchen was promised by my dh, and 2 years later, I have it. I'm so proud of it. I did all the tiling myself, with the encouragement of Patty and the painting and design. I also saved a bundle by purchasing my tiles, sink and taps at an auction, and taking my time to find my appliances and wait for them to come on sale. What do you think?

    That's great! Congratulations! My kitchen is currently in ruins but is slowly but surely being put back together. I'm on a deadline to get the new cupboards installed (doing everything by myself with the help of family members) -- which means installing the new flooring before the new cupboards can go down. The deadline is 'cause I just ordered...wait for ..... GRANITE COUNTERTOPS! I'm so excited! Home Depot had this amazing deal - $40/sq ft for granite - incl installation! So it'll work out to a little over $2000 for a quite large kitchen of granite countertops. Definitely never would have thought it would be in my budget if it wasn't for that.

    Can't wait to see pics of your kitchen - still looking for inspiration on the little details anywhere I can find it.


    Aww shucks, I can never see your pictures I've tried internet explorer and google chrome but it never shows up for me I'm sure it looks awesome though.
