Safeway - $12 for 6 boxes of cereal and 100 Air Miles

At Safeway they have Kelloggs cereal for $4 each and when you buy 6 you get 100 Air Miles. When you use 3 B1G1 coupons(Corn Flakes, Mini Wheats, Rice Krispies) from WebSaver they are half price. Also with some of the cereal comes a free product from Websaver(I got 4 of them) so even more from this deal.

I popped into my Safeway today and took pictures of the cereals, prices and coupons. They are on my blog(address in my signature)if you want to see. In the end I found that

For $13.50 you would get 3660g of cereal, plus you'd get $3.79 off for your free breakfast item.(this is using the yogurt)so

$9.71 for 3660g worth a cereal and a 650g yogurt.

I went to Safeway this past Sunday to get the 100 airmiles and I also did the 5 candy items to get another 30 miles (used my hersey drops coupons)....however as for the cereal I was not able to use the B1G1 coupons from websaver because they specifically state a certain amount of grams, and those boxes were not listed as part of the promo in my Safeway.

I was just going to ask the same thing. what size box did you guys buy to get the promo 3/$12 and bonus 100airmiles? The coupon says you have to buy 850g and those were $6xx each!

I wondered, too, about the sizes - haven't been to Sway this week yet.
Couldn't use the BOGO coupons at Extra on the sale RK and CF because the sizes were wrong.

You know what? I just realized the size of the boxes on the coupon right before they were scanned, I believe the Corn Flakes were the right size but the others weren't. I think I got away with this one, probably half the cashiers would have caught that mistake.
