    We celebrate Canada Day and then just swing right into July 4th (with a family birthday inbetween) So I didn't get too "into" July 4th this year. But today - I wanted to try to make it a bit special for my dh - so - after I spent 3 hours getting my hair done I popped into the St. Vincent De Paul Second Hand Shop to see if I couldn't get something to brighten up the table for supper.

    Perfect!

    I found 4 red and white (ala Barber Pole sort of) tallish glasses and then found RED-White and BLUE dried flowers (Statis, I think). I brought them home - and "whipped up" a July 4th centrepiece to put a smile on dh's face. I used a red and white bow on the front.
