Bob Einsteins brother ( who is Albert Brooks ) is also very funny and successful in his own right.
The extended family must feel such a terrible loss.

RIP Captain - Daryl Dragon - of the Captain and Tennille
Passed away today at 76 years old.

Toni Tennille, Dragon's ex-wife and longtime musical partner, was by his side.
"He was a brilliant musician with many friends who loved him greatly. I was at my most creative in my life, when I was with him," Tennille said

In 1967, Dragon — a classically trained musician — started playing keyboard for The Beach Boys, which led to him being given the nickname "Captain" by lead singer Mike Love because of his affinity for wearing a captain's hat while on stage.

Pegi Young, Singer And Former Wife Of Neil Young, Dead At 66

Pegi is survived by her children with Neil — son Ben, and daughter Amber — as well as her ex-stepson Zeke and two grandchildren.



Her music career started in 1983 as a member of The Pinkettes, the backing vocalists for her then-husband Neil’s Rock-a-Billy Shocking Pinks tour. She continued to sing backup for her husband, including a performance at the Academy Awards in 1994, until 2007, when she released her self-titled debut album.

Pegi went on to release four more albums, including 2017’s Raw, which was recorded following her divorce from Neil in 2014 after 36-years of marriage. She also toured and performed with her band The Survivors.

However, the majority of her time was spent focused on the Bridge School, an educational program she founded with Neil in 1986, aimed at helping children with severe physical and speech impairments.

Carol Channing dies aged 97

The actress and singer was best known for starring in the musicals Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Hello, Dolly!
Channing also had significant Hollywood success, earning a supporting actress Golden Globe for the 1967 film Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Her publicist said it was with "extreme heartache" that he announced "the passing of an original industry pioneer, legend and icon".
"I admired her before I met her, and have loved her since the day she stepped. or fell rather, into my life," B. Harlan Boll added.
"It is so very hard to see the final curtain lower on a woman who has been a daily part of my life for more than a third of it."

Kristoff St. John, star of the Young and the Restless, has passed away at age 52. He played Neil Winters on the show. The cause of death is not yet known. St. John’ son died in 2014 (suicide). St. John had planned to remarry in September. RIP.

Joe Schlesinger, who narrowly escaped the Nazis as a young boy growing up in the former Czechoslovakia and ended up becoming one of Canada's most beloved and respected journalists, has died after a lengthy illness.

As a foreign correspondent for the CBC, Schlesinger covered some of the most significant news events of the latter part of the 20th century and early 2000s.
