yeah it pretty much sucks. FPC's won't count for squat.

Well that was very short lived! Mind you at least they acknowledge that regular (non FPC) coupons do count towards promo totals. I hope this makes those Tim Hortons GB promos easier on folks.
With that said, why do I still fear situations where you have to use a coupon to get BP (such as the spend $100 get 16,500)? :yikes:
well they said it counts for promos. they better not start backtracking on that now!
it took long enough to get a policy from them. i'm just upset that they have pooped on the FPC situation again.
i've already started bugging them on facebook about it ;p
thanks for posting anisa. No big surprise I guess, just the usual disappointment.
Thanks for posting anisa. Sad about the FPC's but happy other coupons will count for other promos.
hmm so they don't accept MFR coupons that have no expiry date. Interesting. They also don't accept Internet FPC's (rare as they are).
So we no longer need to had $50 oop for the promos,we can bring the total down with coupons GREAT!!!love this
So otherwise it's pretty much the same.....sigh
They don't accept coupons without an expiry date? That's a shame I have a few Live Clean coupons with NED.
I'm also disappointed they don't take coupons with no bar code. Not all coupons have one!
So basically, it is the exact same as it has always been, just now in writing. I'm OK with that.
exactly, now they can't try and scam you out of a tims card just because you used coupons.
SDM= a YO-YO lol....ok last week i had 2 FPC for John Frieda hair foam got in trades...used at SDM here & she said i had to pay the tax! I said no its included so she takes out a magnifying glass lol to read coupon...she says it doesn't say tax included...was in a hurry so just paid the tax...get to the car & look at reciept & i got points!! She entered 2001!! so there you have it!! duh!! no consistency at all!!
Well, I just returned home from Shoppers and the cashier, and supervisor both claimed no knowledge of the new coupon policy. (Happened to have a printed copy of the policy on hand) After using coupons to bring down my OOP expense, they claimed that I was no longer eligible to receive the 10.00 GC promotion. Another email to head office! Seems to be the norm for me, each trip I make. I would like to know if anyone in Hamilton has shopped at a location that abides by the new policy. Each store I have been to continues to say that I need to spend 50.00 after coupons. I know this is not right, but try to explain this to them. No luck yet! Believe it is time to spend my points and stay away from Shoppers all together. Never a good experience and any location.
