So, SCers that bought and planted those special Canada 150 bulbs: what colours resulted when the tulips popped up in your garden(s) this spring?
Was orange a predominant colour? https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ne...-petals/81869/

Seedy Saturday in Hamilton will be held on February 3, 2018! Vendors, groups and a cafe.
    Details http://greenventure.ca/community/events/seedysaturday/

There is a seed swap table. Please read the following information.
Seedy Saturday is quickly approaching. When attendees come in the main event is the seed swap table. Our goal is to have some seeds on our table when we open the doors. If you have seeds that you have saved we would appreciate any you can offer to us beforehand. Heritage, open pollinated, heirloom varieties are wonderful because we are trying to preserve the genetic diversity of the plants on our planet. We also appreciate any plants that you have grown yourself. They can be ornamental or food. Tubers, roots or bulbs are also great additions

There are some amazing garlic farms in Canada! Dozens of varieties of bulbs (and bulbils) to choose from. Some of these businesses also sell products, such as garlic salt, garlic powder, and books. Tons of information about how to grow, cure, and store your garlic is available on these sites.

    Enjoy!

    John Boy Farms

    Rasa Creek Farm

    Red Lion Organic Farms

    Snoetic Farm

    Norwegian Creek Farm

    Gord Ron Garlic Farms

    Ballantree Garlic Farm

    Saskgarlic

    Gagetown Garlic

    Swallowtail Farm

I'm sure there are many more to be discovered. Feel free to add any you find.

Canadian Tire, Fortinos and Lowes all have seed displays in stores. Have not been by Home Hardware but it's very likely the OSC seeds and other brands are out on spindle displays too.

I never knew tomato seeds got named after other fruits or attractions or popular culture!

Yes! Some of the heirloom varieties have such whimsical names. The "Anna Banana" tomato I have not tried, but it looks good. I have grown Berkeley Tie Dye, though, and it was prolific and really pretty.
