U.S. shopping question
Were thinking of maybe going to the states for hubbies holidays soon:excited:, were wondering when coming back across the border, do they consider the before the coupon price of what you spent or the after? I would love to go across the border back home with like a trunk full of stuff worth like $500 and say 'oh I only spend $25  however I don't want to get stuck and have to pay HUGE duty and lose out on all the deals. :yikes:
I do have all the great tips on what sites to check out though. wow theres alot.

not 100% certain either -- would love to know as well. Also if you have any suggestions on good US sites I would love some.
thanks and hope you have a blast. :)

Only what you paid - so after coupons...when you hand over the receipts they only look at the TOTAL you paid oop :)

I think it really depends on the border guard you get. I've had some really nice ones that don't even look at the receipts and others that do a full scale vehicle search.
I've never used coupons over there, so I have no idea, but I bet anything if they *did* want to charge duty, they would use the price before coupons.

We go over a lot and it is the amount you paid not what the stuff is worth. Just keep your receipts handy. If you use swag bucks you can print coupons through there and earn swag bucks

i have a TOn of the ss and red plum inserts from a few weeks ago if you need some coupons (US editions)
