I went to shoppers here and got 3 of the small Nexxus shampoo and the cashier said they can't be used on travel size. She said she just had to explain it all to someone else that the coupon didn't cover travel size. I knew the coupon says "any Nexxus product" but I didn't feel like arguing with her so I didn't get them.
I really want to start getting into doing the points there but if a coupon that is straight forward like that one is gets denied, I don't know. I guess I got to be ready to put up a fight, too.
That was a great shop OP. I really want to start doing that, too.

Great shop op!!!
Judy.. I found that I had to stand my ground the first few times, it does get easier. I had a problem last year when the Vim was $1 off. The cashier said I couldn't because it would be free. I asked for the Csm, she said no as well, so I asked for the manager. That got me a no .. So I told them I could, they'd need to call 1 800 Shoppers to check. She calls and then tells me that I'm correct. It took 30 minutes. I stay polite but firm. I had a problem in almost every store in the beginning but I politely stood my ground and got it resolved. After that I don't seem to have a problem when I go. I did find it very stressful but worth it.
Be sure to click like and post a brag if you get the deal.. It makes my day!!! Flattery may just get you more deals
Be sure to double check your flyer, points and cashback offers~ YMMV

I think I know what happened here.
I had a bit of trouble after they special ordered a large quantity of them for me. They contacted the company because they were having issues getting the money back for the coupons. Turns out the coupons were released BEFORE the travel size was even made. So the coupon was never supposed to be valid on travel size because travel size never existed. Bad marketing on the companys side of things but now I find my SDM's are hesitant to accept them.Insert Clever Signature Here

Thank you Millie. I need to hear that. I was pretty good til Walmart, lol "another storey. I am going to try to do better and I will remember exactly what you said when I'm doing it cause thats just how I would like to be.
I know I really want to do what the OP is doing with the points. The way I see it, it just takes couponing to a whole new level and makes it so much more exciting. It is things in her posts that really gets me excited again because I am done with Walmarts clearence stuff. Thanks OP.
I am really sorry, I don't mean to be ranting on your brag. That was not my intention.
