I would be very wary of any Corsair items with rebates. I sent mine in for a set of speakers in December of last year and haven't received the $50 cheque yet. I phoned their rebate centre and sent emails, and am still getting the run around, even though they seemed like they were trying to help.
I've sent in several rebates to Corsair over the years without issue. They are one of the better companies I find for dealing with any problems you have, although I rarely have problems with anything when it comes to them.
Rebates in general though tend to take too long and some people always seem to have issues.
