    Hi everyone.

We very recently took over this property form my SIL. Our yard has poison ivy all around where the bushes use to be and it looks like it's coming up in my flower garden and even near the kid's swing set. SIL mentioned before that they had "treated" it a couple times but it's obviously not dying off. Anyone here have any suggestions on what we could use or how long it could take to get rid of this?

Common practice to deal with poison ivy is to use a glyphosate-based chemical pesticide to kill the leaves and plant.
That is a line I got off a website I just searched treatments for poison ivy on. We have had things like Mint plants before which are incredibly invasive, and just picked them out when we saw them, eventually they just stopped popping .

well, round up kills everything in its path. It's a herbicide. you can just use a brush and paint it on the leaves so the round up doesn't kill your grass & flowers.
