    Corn Nuggets..

    2 cups cornmeal
    1/2 cup flour
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 cups shucked corn
1 cup milk or 1 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
    1/4 cup sugar (optional)
    Directions:
    1
    Preheat oil to 400 degrees.
    2
    Mix the dry ingredients.
    3
    Toss in the shucked corn.
    4
Using a fork, stir in the egg.
    5
A little bit at a time, mix in the liquid until the dough forms a ball.
    6
Let sit for 10 min, then check to see if it needs a bit more liquid.
    7
You are aiming for a very stiff, but not at all dry, dough.
    8
Shape into balls, and drop a few at a time into the oil.
    9
    Fry until golden brown.

    Ingredients: shopping list
2 loaves (1 pound each) frozen bread dough, thawed
    2 raisins
    2 sliced almonds
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    lettuce leaves
    Dip of your choice

    Directions:
Cut a fourth off of one loaf of dough; shape into a pear to form head. For body, flatten remaining portion into a 7-in. x 6-in. oval; place on a greased baking sheet. Place head above body. Make narrow cuts, about 3/4 in. deep, on each side of head for whiskers.
Cut second loaf into four equal portions. For ears, shape two portions into 16-in. ropes; fold ropes in half. Arrange ears with open ends touching head. Cut a third portion of dough in half; shape each into a 3-1/2-in. oval for back paws. Cut two 1-in. slits on top edge for toes. Position on each side of body.
Divide the fourth portion of dough into three pieces. Shape two pieces into 2-1/2-in. balls for front paws; shape the remaining piece into two 1-in. balls for cheeks and one 1/2-in. ball for nose. Place paws on each side of body; cut two 1-in. slits for toes. Place cheeks and nose on face. Add raisins for eyes and almonds for teeth.
Brush dough with egg. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30-45 minutes. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
Place bread on a lettuce-lined 16-in. x 13-in. serving tray. Cut a 5-in. x 4-in. oval in center of body. Hollow out bread, leaving a 1/2-in. shell (discard removed bread or save for another use). Line with lettuce and fill with dip. Yield: 1 loaf.

1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated sugar cookies
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 bottle (2.25 oz) pink and blue colored sugar
1 container (12 oz) fluffy white frosting
    2 cups flaked coconut
    Food colors
    Assorted jelly beans
    Pipe cleaners
    1/4-inch pastel ribbon

1 Heat oven to 350° F. Grease or spray 24 miniature muffin cups. In medium bowl, stir or knead cookie dough and flour until well blended.
2 Roll dough into 24 (1 1/4-inch) balls; roll in colored sugar. Press 1 ball into bottom and up side of each muffin cup.
3 Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until set and edges are light golden brown. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove to cooling rack.
4 Add coconut to a 1-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag. Add 3 to 4 drops food color and shake until well blended. It may be necessary to add 1 to 2 teaspoons water to help disperse the color evenly or additional food color until desired color is reached.
5 Frost top of each cookie. Decorate with colored coconut and jelly beans. Tie a small ribbon bow on 5-inch piece of pipe cleaner; insert into each basket for handle.

    above post

    Here's the recipe:

    Chocolate Macaroons
In a saucepan bring these first 4 ingredients to a boil -
1/2 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla
2 cups of sugar 1/2 cup butter

Remove from heat and add -
    3 cups rolled oats
    1 cup coconut
    6 tbsp. cocoa
Mix well. Use a small ice cream scoop to drop onto a cookie sheet that you have covered with wax paper. Push one chocolate egg into each nest. Put in refrigerator to set.
I have made these larger in the past and used 3 eggs in each, but prefer this size. The kids LOVE them! Enjoy!
