Jasper - you are definitely onto something when you say you truly believe that walmart HIDES the stock or PULLS it from the shelf and then low and behold it is BACK on the shelf a couple days later, after the sale somewhere else is over, so you couldn't price match. I thought this was silly at first, that maybe they would just be having stock problems.....BUT, i JUST came back from superstore, and asked the lady at CS, where all the coke products were? The shelves were bare for almost HALF the aisle - no joke! And she blatantly told me that sometimes if there's a sale somewhere else, because whoever is responsible for setting those sale prices (sorry not sure how it works) does not give superstore that price, and gives the competitor that best price, they will PULL THAT ITEM FROM THE SHELF!! Because they don't want people price matching? or because it is coca-cola who decides to give the best price too, so is superstore punishing Coca-cola?? lol Please help me out as to why exactly they do this. We should all understand why! I couldn't believe it!! So you are definitely onto something, and if you call them, definitely let on that you are aware of this and you are not imagining it!!
I am also wondering if Wal-mart themselves had the pads on sale, why would they delete the order??? I don't get it.

I was at Walmart today, and a friend on Friday, and no pads that were supposed to be on sale. So, I guess I can take my business to Zellers where they will price match! But you are absolutely correct, when on sale, it disappears.

I work at walmart, and i would be fired on the spot if i ever used that word towards a customer. In our store if you try to hide products so that you can use them you will get fired. All our food that is delivered is put on the floor during the evening and over night. We do have a lot of couponer's in our store and there is usually a line up every morning. If we don't have something, we will issue rain checks. I'm sorry you are having such problems with your store, I hope it gets worked out. I also hope that the person who used that 'word' is looking for another job.

OMG, I just read your post. I'm shocked. I can't imagine someone using that word, especially when you are standing right there. I would have asked for the head manager right on the spot. That, in my opinion is grounds for immediate dismissal. I'm not really sure on WM policy, but I would think that no store wants to get that kind of a reputation.
I'm so sorry that this happend to you, your such a wonderful person. Please keep us posted if, and when you hear back from WM.We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Holy crap. That's unbelievable.
FYI, the "CU next Tuesday" is normally used - mostly by men, in my experience - to "say" the C-word without actually saying it (in case they're overheard, for example).
I have never once heard it used as anything else, although I guess, at a real stretch, it might be used when texting or something...because when you say it aloud, of course, it sounds just like "see you"; no one would use it and expect someone to think of the letters, unless they're also saying something like "She's a real C/S/ee You next Tuesday" so you'd understand from the context (or lack thereof!).
In any case, yes, immediate termination for the cashier would appear to be in order. Keep us posted.

As for things that other stores have on sale not being in stock this wouldn't bother me becuase I'd just go to the store the sale was at.
But if I had an employee call me that I would loose it. I would be calling head office on my cell right in front of them & asking for a real manager not these useless CSM's. The word itself doesn't offend me, I use it often, you just don't call a customer that when they can hear youI am currently looking for coupons for non parishable foods or grocery coupons good until December to help with Christmas food helpers.
If you have any to trade please PM me.

I woulda asked for the store managers phone number on the spot. In my Walmart, the Store Managers picture and phone number are on a HUGE poster hanging in two different spots, includes her cell phone number if there are any complaints or concerns. You should be able to find the name of your Store Manager and District Manager and I'd be calling them directly.

When I got the car after being at the cash forever because of my many price matching + coupon usage, I realized that instead of getting the Uncle Ben's Rice with sauce (in the smart source insert) for free wub Uncle Ben's Bistro Express that they gave me the Uncle Bens Bistro Express free and okay it was .97, however, I had 5 transactions to get these. So I wanted my .97 back x 5. Sad but true!
2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!
