so i went to LD oliver square this afternoon and tried to stack for 2 items. I went to customer service and the girl looked through my 1st stack of coupons and took only 1 out. I told her i'm stacking and they are for 1 item. She asked "all this?" i said yes. I also noticed cashier came out of her booth and headed over to CS. The cashier chimed in and said they don't allow that anymore. I asked her how come. She said people are "taking too much advantage" of it. I asked when did it stop. She said it has been for at least 3 months. I politely told her I was there yesterday and stacked for 4 items fine. She did not reply just that they don't allow stacking anymore period. Ok, I told her I did not know the policy changed since yesterday so i apologized and said i'll go to another store. I asked for my coupons back. She didn't want to give my coupons back - just held on to them. I had to asked 2 more times before she handed my coupons back. Grrrr. The thing that ticked me off was that i was polite to them the whole time.
this is the last time i'll step foot into that store. This is not the first time they treated me indifferently. I have not been into this store for over a year. The last time i was there a different CSR asked me "where did you steal these coupons?" excuse me, i did not steal them, i buy the newspaper, trade with others, got them from stores and recycling bins.
well, i decided to go to a different LD (northtown) and stacked for 4 items. Everything went fine. It was quick and i even got a smile from the CSR.
seriously, if LD stops allow stacking i will not shop there - too expensive. SOF allows stacking now but i have not gotten the courage to try yet but i'm seriously thinking about it.This thread is currently associated with: London Drugs, Save on Foods

London Drugs would lose a ton of business if they stopped allowing stacking. It really is to expensive otherwise. I've recently started stacking at the Windermere location, they have been really great. The manager in the West Ed Mall location is rude to say the least and I will only go back if absolutely necessary

Oliver Square has been a pain in the @ss for a long time. Northtown is now hit & miss. I hear West Ed is still ok and I've stacked at SOF, no problem.

i tried to do my stacking in sof on tuesday after meeting with rish and my store refused to take my coupons.... told me that because they are a .01 over they wont take them when i was at a sof that did take them that same day and i was even trying to show my reciept for it to prove it to them and not only that but the one item rang up wrong and i should have gotten it free but they wouldnt give me the scoop . so i left telling the manager i will bus 2hrs to another store just to coupon and give them my business because they are terrible always tellingme that my coupons are fake and that they cant take them especially the ones i get right from sof. they dont like them
dont go to londonderry sof terrible service and terrible variety of products usually never have whats advertised usually.

Funny how all LD stores have different policies. Even in BC there are stores that will/won't and even cashiers that will/won't. The one I go to in North Van i usually go to a certain CSR and have no problems with coupons or stacks. She isn't the friendliest of cashiers, but she does it.

Today I went to Jasper Gates to stack Huggies. I was told that you can't stack any more than 4 of any Huggies products. This is NOT 4 of each UPC, it's 4 of any. I was not pm'ing anything. I was very frustrated as I have stacked Huggies no problem at other locations. I ended up leaving most of what I was planning to get, as I was NOT paying FULL PRICE
I won't waste my time going there again

I don't even bother anymore. I use coupons when the item is on sale or wait for the item to go sale and stock up. I don't have the time or the patience to do all that shopping and stacking to be refused. Time is money.

I understand limiting if you are pm'ing but this rule they pulled out of nowhere that you can only stack on 4 is ridiculous. I still love being able to stack and I put a lot of effort into making sure everything is correct and that I am following the rules. It's hard to follow the rules when they are making them up as they go.

I haven't heard of this I been to Two locations today they didn't tell me about the 4 coupons thing.... They didn't even give me any fuss about coupons. I was really impressed because I tried PMing SDM flyer for the 10.99 pull up nightimes I think the flyer was for jumbos but it didnt say specific size or anything I found a mega size that looked like the picture so I thought I would try it and they looked through their system for me and gave me a deal 13.99 for the mega size diapers. Still was able to stack and got them for cheap I wasn't gonna pay 20.99 for they're regular price really glad they lowered it that much
. I really enjoyed stacking today I feel I must do it again this coming week since I just got some new Dove, Pediasure and Aveeno coupons.

Jasper Gates is the first place I have ever heard of this 4 coupon stack thing. She said it was just on Huggies. I had no problem stacking more than that at other locations this week. I have heard other people say Jasper Gates isn't good but figured I'd try it out for myself. It will be my last time going to that location. Windermere is my new favourite location.
I was told back in December that LD will no longer stack Aveeno. It was at the West Ed location I was told that.
