Hi everyone!
I am working in the Social Development Lab at University of Toronto and we're looking for people to participate in a study this summer. If this looks good to you, or if you know someone who fits the demographics, please send me a PM so we can set it up.
We are interested in exploring the ways that parents and children interact in different situations that arise in daily family life and also about how parents and children think about helping other people.
We are looking for parents and their children (ages 9-12) to each complete separate phone and on-line questionnaires. Questions will address parenting philosophy, children’s reasons for acting in various ways across a variety of situations as well as general demographic questions. Questionnaires will take approximately 1 hr to complete. Mothers and children will be asked to attend a follow-up session on St. George campus in about 2-3 months time.
Compensation: $10 gift card for the child, and free parking (for the downtown session)!
