Wow...I'd say that dog is lucky that you didn't report him!! That's an awful thing to have happen to you. Did you get a shot for it? (I know I wouldn't, but I think we're supposed to get it checked if the skin is broken.) My dog & I play a little rough sometimes, and I get some major scratches that break the skin, but I'm fine, so you're probably OK too. Not to negate your experience, though, for sure....sounds a whole lot more serious!
Catch basins in curb lanes clogged with grass clippings or leaves by residents/lawn care companies using leaf blowers aiming the yard waste into the street or curb. Newsflash-it's against city bylaw and there's a risk of flooding.
Does a regular check in with Mom each day help? Just to show that you care for however many minutes you can allot to see how her day is going and what mutual things you both need to verify. Then you can ignore the messages until you are ready at another time. She must know what emotional labour you have to deal with at work with customers-you need some breathing room too.
Can't report him without a name(didn't have my phone with me and was in such a rush and in total shock that I wouldn't have remembered it by the time I got home). In the process of completing the rabies shots because I couldn't find the dog to get his info.
On the bright side as of next Friday I'm immune from getting rabies for the next 20 years.
Milk spilled in car, worst smell in the world to get out.
Yes, I have read that is the case. Have you already put baking soda on rescue duty?

Tonight as I pulled into my driveway I had an interesting visitor - a skunk.
Agreed.
DD threw up one night in her sleep and didn`t realize. It was everywhere! Her mattress. Sheets. Clothes. Side of the bed. Rug. Oh God the rug. She as a WHITE shag rug in her room and there were chunks and Jesus. It was bad.
On that note. Vinegar is your best friend.
