I love the beat and tune to the song "Blurred Lines" but I hate the message it sends about women

Yes, I know that song produced soooo much negative chatter, however, as Robin Thicke had explained it is a group of them ( all married with kids) that was just horsing around, they actually do hold women in high regard.
If you want to really chuckle though, watch the Jimmy Kimmel parody!! It is quite cute.

Problem today....having to wait till 11:30 for a doctor s app't:)
And my bed is too comfy:)
i just got 3 cases of pickles (stacked and got them free) now i have no place to put them!
I have 20 boxes of pasta with the same problem.
Love the Jimmy Kimmel
Making a video with a bad message and then writing it off as "horsing around" doesn't make it ok. The message is still there. I really want someone to ask his wife what she thinks. Though any Hollywood handler would quash that interview, I'm sure.
Still donno how to feel about this song. So torn by beat vs. words. [QUOTE=walkonby;5560902]
He was on the Today Show and apparently said the song is a feminist movement and empowering women. Not entirely sure that using naked women as essentially props empowers them. Also, a line like "I'll give you something big enough to tear your a** in two" does not make me feel empowered. I want to know what his dad has to say about this song. I don't like that I dance along to this song in my car =(
ohh yes have the pasta problem too i have a feeling a pasta donation is in my future.. it's hard not to get it when it's completely free
Boredom
I have too many nailpolishes to choose from to paint my nails :(
i'm trying to pack a box to send up north to my parents but i'm stuck with a weight limit of 50lbs.. and i don't have a large scale (only a small kitchen one) and i now have to do... gasp.. math...
My son has hit puberty (at 11!) and I have to add Clearasil to my list of stockpile items. :bawling:
I ordered a laptop, mostly to use for my photography stuff, nothing important....
got it and guess what? They sent a Chinese Version of windows! I figured out how to set it up, go to the control panel to switch to English, and it is not available! On the plus side, that means I have all weekend free now!
